Welcome from The Directors

Dear Students and Parents,

Congratulations to everyone who took part in the school show ‘Kitty B Our Hero’. The feedback has been incredible, and we are so grateful for the huge commitment made by all our students, teachers and parents!!

To those of you who have been with us before – welcome back, and to all of you new students who are about to join us, you’ve arrived at the school you won’t want to leave!!

The ethos of our school is to ‘Be Who You Want to Be”, and through Singing, Dancing and Acting, we aim to make that ethos true in your own life. At NPAS we believe that you should come running into your class each week, excited to see what you can learn, and leave with the biggest smile on you face, counting the days till you are back with us again. We also believe that the facilities we offer are what makes us stand out. Our studios have housed all kinds of music, film and theatre stars you can possibly imagine, from: Britney Spears to David Bowie, and from U2 to Pink – they have all rehearsed at The Factory.

The Factory is now a film studio where movies are imagined , created, produced, edited and screened with incrediable directors working from here. Each and every one of our students is as important as any ‘Superstar’ – you are our ‘Superstars’. You are our priority and your development as a confident, capable and rounded young person is what we aim to achieve.

You have a huge choice in where you take your classes, and where your children spend their Weekends, and we know that at NPAS, your children will have fun whilst learning through the performing arts. Our teachers are the best, with external qualifications, as well as training with us here at NPAS.. our studios are the best… and the atmosphere when the school is rocking is second to none. Add to that that we are the only ‘Stage School’ to do a professional end of year show in The Olympia Theatre every year, and thats why we stand out way above the rest!!

Going forward with NPAS shows we’d like to advise parents to talk to young their people doing exams, for some the exams are very stressful and a class or two a week is a great way to unwind, but perhaps that year your child could do just classes and not core group. The are young people who have managed very well in combining the two, but preparation is what it’s all about.

Our programme for the next school year is only a click away, so take a look, think it over and then call or email us to book your classes! It’s that easy and it may just be the best decision you make this year!!

Kindest regards and Be Who You Want to Be!!

About NPAS

The National Performing Arts School is Ireland’s Number 1 Dance, Drama and Singing School. It is the brainchild of Jill Doyle and Eamon Farrell. They describe the school as “a place where we would have spent our childhoods, if it had been around”. The difference with other ‘Stage Schools’ is that NPAS sees itself as a place where young people get to shine, where their individuality is promoted and where their confidence grows and they can “Be Who they Want to Be”. We are not just another stage school. All of our classes are available under one roof, making NPAS the only place you need to go for all your Perfoming Arts Classes. And with our studios and facilities at The Fcatory, we believe its time to move away from school halls, and scout dens to bright spaces built and designed specifically for the purpose of Performance. Come and see us at NPAS – you’ll feel right at home!
