Back Live & Booking NOW!

Saturday 21st August 2021

Dear Students and Parents,

We are writing to you to let you know about the reopening of NPAS for this school year. We are thrilled to attach a link to our timetable for the year and to let you know that in person classes will recommence on Saturday and Sunday the 2nd and 3rd of October 2021. This newsletter and booking information is going to our highly valued clients first – you! Please be aware that this year classes will be smaller so it is more important than ever to book early.

As you may be aware the current Government and NPHET Guidelines for Dance, Drama and Musical Theatre schools are very strict. It is with this in mind that our school will be reopening with the highest levels of Covid Safety Protocols possible – SAFE @ NPAS (link below). This school year we will have smaller classes, additional studio space, accurate contact tracing and increased ventilation at all venues. We have been working with all the health and safety bodies and we now feel that we are in a position to reopen live in person classes from the beginning of October. We are so excited to welcome you all back! Due to the continuing restrictions on singing we will continue to hold our singing classes on Zoom. This year’s Summer Camps were a great success and it was wonderful to see so many students during July and August. It also gave us a chance to get used to our newest venue – Ringsend and Irishtown Community Centre. The Centre has two fabulous brand new studios and it is fantastic for NPAS to be associated with such a great community facility. We also have a new studio at the Lir Complex – Unit 18, to add to Lir studios we have previously used. Our Junior School classes will be moving to Ringsend too with a new structure and some new class combinations. We think you will love the changes.

Our absolute priority is in reopening our school safely and in maintaining the highest standard of classes in the Performing Arts for children and young people. We think that 2021/22 will be our best school year yet! We also feel that our classes will take on an additional importance in social using for young people and children. Commitment to class is so important, and we always suggest that young people take more than one class. This is especially important if they are interested in a career in the Arts. Fun, confidence building, and being who you want to be are our priorities at the school. The more you put in at NPAS the more you will get from your time with us! Our teachers cannot wait to welcome our regular students again, and to introduce new students for the first time to the NPAS Family.

We love our school, and we really hope that you will be a part of NPAS this year. We are also continuing to work very hard in the background on our return to our home of 25 years – The Factory on Barrow Street. We are so grateful to each and every one of you who has attended our school over the years, and to those who supported us on Zoom last year. We hope to see you back with us very, very soon!

Kindest Regards agus Sláinte.
