Happy Halloween
28th October 2020
Dear Students and Parents,
Happy Halloween – we are delighted that Halloween falls on Saturday this year! We love nothing more than digging out a costume or two for class so this Saturday it’s your chance to do the same! We will see you in class, dressed up and ready to have some fun! Here are some of the Costumes from last year.. we can’t wait to see what you come up with this year, and we will be giving out spot prizes of NPAS Sweatshirts, Tee Shirts, Bags and Masks throughout the Day.
We have attached a link below to a petition we would love you to sign. The petition is to enable us to get safely back into Studios and that when we return to Level 3 or 2 we can safely hold socially distanced Dance, Drama and Singing classes. We are also looking for our students to write to us letting us know how much you miss your classes. We need clarity on when we can get back into studio, and we want to get across to Government and the people in charge how important your classes are to you. It would be great if you could email the school during mid term break and we will compile all the letters and with 300 other schools in the Performing Arts Educators of Ireland PAEI Organisation we will be making our case. Zoom classes are going really well, and we are loving seeing you all each weekend, but as we have said from the start of the school year our ambition is to get back into the Studio at the earliest point possible.
So please, click the link, sign the petition and write us a few lines at info@npas.ie letting us know what your classes mean to you. You can start your letter with “Dear NPAS”, or use your teacher’s name like “Dear Jill @ NPAS”. Thanks so much! Happy Halloween from all of us to all of you – we will see you soon!!
