School Closure
Thursday March 12th, 2020
Dear Students, Parents and Caregivers.
We are writing to you to let you know that our school will be closed this weekend.
This is a very hard decision to have to make, but when the consequences of not closing are health related it becomes the only one. We have been watching the news on the Coronavirus and we believe that the consequences to over reacting fade in comparison to the consequences of under reacting. We are continuing to take our advice from the HSE and Dept. of Health and we will close for the next 3 weekends. We hope to reopen on Saturday the 4th of April. If we can open earlier we will let you know. We will miss you all over the next couple of weeks. We will miss you all but we are already excited about seeing you in class again.
We will, on our return, make up for missed classes and we are in the process of making a decision about the end of year show which we may need to postpone. Our greatest concern however is for the safety and well being of you and your own families. We hope that you remain healthy and happy, and find some way to get through this with as little disruption to your lives as possible.
A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity, but an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty. During this difficult time we hope you take the opportunity to rehearse, practice, learn your lyrics, play your songs in your rooms loudly, and dance like no one is watching! We will see you all very soon.
Kindest Regards agus Sláinte.
