Thank you very much for taking on or supporting a challenge for Childline and donating €1,520.00 to help make sure our service is always here for children.

By challenging yourself, you have helped make sure Childline will always be here to listen to children and young people, to support them and to empower them to be resilient in the face of any challenges which may come their way in life.

As the last few weeks have shown us, issues including abuse, mental health difficulties and strains in family relationships do not stop in a pandemic. Children need Childline now more than ever. Many feel is it the only place they have to turn.

The service, however, relies on donations for 90 per cent of its funding. We rely on the support of individuals like you, and of communities the length and breadth of Ireland, to help make sure we can continue to be here for them 24 hours a day, every day, by phone, online and by text.

Letting a child knows there is someone there to listen, someone who cares, can make a significant difference. Thank you for helping to make this possible.
