Aoife Dunne hails from Crumlin in Dublin. She is no stranger to the stage as she has been performing since the age of 4 on some of the biggest stages in Dublin that include The Olympia, The Gaiety, The Bord Gais Energy Theatre and The National Concert Hall. While she lives to be on the stage, she has appeared on RTE’s tv show ‘Elev8’ and was also a featured vocalist in Joyce Murphys ‘Dream Baby Dream’ music video and single. She played Hollahan in ’16 & Rising’ which most notably performed at Ireland’s largest music and theatre festival ‘Electric Picnic’ and in the Town Hall Theatre, Galway.

Aoife is in her final year of her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Musical Theatre with American College Dublin and had the amazing opportunity to be a featured vocalist in Rogers and Hammerstein’s `A Grand Night for Singing’ in The Keith C. and Elaine Johnson Wold Performing Arts Center in Florida. She has not only had the chance to join Russel Watson on his international ‘Songs from the Heart’ tour but was also featured in the number one single ‘Scorn Not His Simplicity’. Recently, she has travelled across seas as a performer on ‘The Oscar Wilde’ and ‘The W.B Yeats”, was a featured vocalist in the ‘Diamond Jubilee Concert’ in the National Concert Hall and appeared as a featured vocalist in ‘The Greatest Showman Live’. Aoife loved her time as a student in NPAS and is delighted to return as a teacher to see all the bright, smiling and happy faces in the coming year.
