Cara Gaynor is a 23 year old filmmaker who has recently graduated from the National Film School at IADT, Dun Laoghaire (Majored in Directing). She has written and directed a number of fictional shorts, experimental shorts and also her award winning documentary ‘A Mother’s Gift’. Creating stories and giving people a visual platform to share their story is extremely important to her. Cara has been drawn to storytelling in many different forms throughout her life, especially in the form of music and dance as she had been a dancer for seventeen years. To combine both film and dance is a huge excitement and love of Cara’s.
