I started as a student in NPAS at the young age of two and have taken part in all types of classes for 16 years now including tap, jazz, ballet,contemporary, street dance, bollywood, musical theatre, singing and drama. I completed up to Grade 7 with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and achieved distinctions in all exams. I have also completed my first year of Dance Studies at Inchicore College Further Education where I achieved Fetac Level 5 awards in Dance Performance, Kinesiology and Dance Production and have completed my Intemediate examinations of ballet with the RAD and modern with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD). I have also spent one year as a junior member of the Dublin Youth Dance Company (DYDC) expanding my knowledge of contemporary dance and performing in festivals such as the Dublin Dance Festival (DDF) and Irish Youth Dance Festival (IYDF). I have since become a senior company member of DYDC. I have achieved both high honours and distinctions through acting examinations with the Irish Board of Speech and Drama and the Royal Irish Academy. NPAS has been my home since joining and has encouraged me to flourish as an individual and has given great support over the years to both myself and fellow students. It has allowed me to be who I want to be.
