David Gilna started his training at The National Performing Arts School under Jill Doyle & Eamon Farrell .  . Starring in Amy’s Angel, The Dreamcatcher , The Power of Three . From there he went on to study Theatre Studies in Colaiste Dhulaigh . After college David trained under Conal Kearney &  Michael Scott . Always developing his craft through workshops with The Actors Studio & LAMDA while living in London

In Theatre David has performed all over Ireland , Europe & America . Off Broadway & his West End debut in Kolbe’s Gift .

As a writer David’s theatre credits include “5 Nights” “Gift of Lightning” & “My Bedsit Window” which have been produced in Ireland , London , Rome & America  . TV Credits include Fair City , Friday Night Lock In . Also  Commissioned screenwriter for World Picture Films & Blue Pip Productions
David’s play “Gift of Lightning” is being adapted into a feature film by Blue Pip Productions in 2016
David is delighted to be back teaching where it all began . Working with the next generation of talent in Ireland .
