Miranda has been studying Drama and Theatre since she can remember as she followed in the footsteps of her mother who was an elocution teacher. She completed her Grade 8 Speech and Drama exam at the Royal Irish Academy of Music with a distinction at the age of 13. She then attended the Gaiety School of Acting for several years, before going on to complete a Masters Postgraduate course in Applied Theatre and Drama in Education at London’s Central School of Speech and Drama.

She has performed both on camera and on stage, and has directed in several theatre companies from ‘Players’ at Trinity College Dublin, to ‘The Ladies’ in Hong Kong, and ‘Rampant’ theatre company in Dublin.  Miranda has been teaching drama for several years now, to wide range of students including both adults and children. She has worked in schools, and theatre companies in London, Hong Kong, Australia, South Africa and Dublin. She particularly loves the students at NPAS whose enthusiasm, charm and smiling faces have brightened up her Saturdays for the past four years!!
