Sinead
Rowan
Teacher
Sinead Rowan attended the NPAS from the age of six, studying both drama and dance. She obtained her Bachelor of Education in 2003 specialising in Film and Media during her fourth year. Sinead has a particular interest in process drama and the role it plays in education. She has facilitated professional development workshops for teaching staff in this area.
Sinead completed her Associate Diploma(Teaching) in 2013 with the Irish Board of Speech and Drama.
She has directed several productions in her own primary school including “Matilda” and “The Lion King” and recently directed “Three Wishes for One” with NPAS.
” It is a huge privilege teaching the young people of NPAS. I believe the skills encountered in drama class help prepare the students for school, career and life”.
