On Sunday 17th of November we will hold an Acting for Camera Workshop at the Lir Academy. This Workshop will be for 9-11 years olds from 2pm to 3pm, and for 12-20 year olds from 3pm to 4pm. Jill Doyle, Director at NPAS & Louis Maxwell, Teacher at NPAS, photographer and Film Maker will be joined by Kelly Thornton. Kelly is a past pupil of NPAS and has starred in movies like ‘Life’s a Breeze”,‘Twin’ and ‘Bainne”. This Workshop will introduce students to how acting for screen differs from stage and theatre acting, and to skills used by actors in Film and Television work. Please book at reception.

We are delighted to announce a Self Taping workshop with Casting Agency Ali Coffey and her Team on Sunday 24th November. Ali is one of Ireland’s top casting Agents and this Workshop will be invaluable for young people going for auditions who are often asked to send a video of themselves from their own device – Self Tape. The Workshop is from 2pm to 3pm for 9-11 year olds and from 3pm to 4pm for 12-20 year olds. Please book at Reception. Places are limited so Book Early!
